Saying [about negotiations for Verdi's Aida in Cairo] that [Angelo] Mariani will accept 30,000 to 35,000 francs for the entire season in Cairo, that Stolz will accept 120,000 to 125,000 for the season, asking Lampugnani to keep these negotiations secret there are those in Milan who don't like her showing a preference for theatres outside Italy, asking him to wire Cairo immediately to tell them of Mariani's and her conditions, adding that she is dealing with two other theatres and needs an answer about Cairo quickly, etc.
